I had a default pline width of 1', added arrow throughout with pline segments with different begin and end widths. Defined this and used, it looked just like a continuous line type. I also tried the express with defining a shape and inserting the shapes among the line and defining. Worked fine for a while, then I lost my shapes. The arrows went back to a line, with weight 0.
