Original title: Sylfaen Font Problem Hello. I have a problem with the languages in my laptop. You see, I want to be able to type in different Armenian fonts in the Microsoft Word but the only one I can use, is the Sylfaen font. Please note, that I have already added the Armenian Language alongside with the Armenian Keyboard Layout to the Language Preferences page in my laptop and I can type Armenian. But when I want to change the default Sylfaen font to other fonts that came with the computer and the ones I downloaded, it just stays the same and no changes are made to my typed text.

Does the issue occur only in Microsoft Office Word? Here’s what you can try: Method 1: Change Fonts settings. Go to this location: C: windows Fonts (C: drive is the drive on which Windows 8 is installed). Click on Change fonts settings. Uncheck the option Hide fonts based on language settings. Click on OK and restart the computer.
Method 2: Copy contents of Fonts folder from another computer. In a computer running Windows 8 64-bit, follow this path to the Fonts folder: C: windows Fonts. Copy it onto a flash drive.
In your computer, follow the same path and paste the contents of the Fonts folder in the flash drive in the Fonts folder, located onto your computer. Restart the computer and check if the issue is resolved. Please get back to us with the results.
