There are also new landscape elements in the game: hills and cliffs that affect the field of view of our units - this gives KKND2 the opportunity to hide and carry out both sudden and unexpected surprise attacks. Another addition that we discover in 2 parts of this RTS are special units, including flying units, which increase the combat capabilities of our troops (the total number of units exceeds 50 for each race). The defensive functions of our base and the army under our control increase the emergence of radar, thanks to which our warning systems become even more effective.

The appearance of the third race - Series 9 robots makes the whole gameplay more varied. Now we will have to know the new advantages and disadvantages of each breed. Robots on the battlefield last much longer than survivors or mutants, but they cannot be repaired, which defactively compensates for the endurance of other races. In multi-player mode up to 8 players can play (also controlled by a computer).
